These are the terms for buying a ticket to a Walk & Wine. Buying one means you agree to them. They are short because the thing itself is simple: about 40 women, a walk of a couple of miles, and a table afterwards.
Each walk states its own refund policy on its page, and that is the one that applies. Most are non-refundable but transferable: if you cannot make it, send someone in your place. We would rather the seat got used.
To transfer a ticket, email us the name of the person taking your place before the walk starts. There is no charge for it.
If we cancel a walk and do not replace it, you get your money back in full.
These are outdoor walks, so weather decides some of them. We make the call and text every ticket holder by the time stated on that walk’s page — usually early the same afternoon.
What happens next depends on the walk, and each page says which: some swap the walk for something indoors and the evening goes ahead, some move to a new date with your ticket carrying over, and some are called off and refunded in full.
It is a walk on public streets and pavements, usually a couple of miles, at a conversational pace. It is not a race and nobody is timing you.
You are responsible for deciding whether you are well enough to take part, and for your own safety while you do. Wear something you can walk in. Tell the host if you need to slow down, stop, or leave — that is what she is there for. You are free to leave at any point.
We do not provide medical or physical supervision, and we are not responsible for your belongings.
Where a drink is included, it is included — not required, and nobody is counting. You must be 21 or over to be served, and the venue can refuse service at its discretion, as any venue can.
The entire point of these nights is that someone who arrives alone has a good time. Anyone making that harder — for another guest, for the host, or for the venue’s staff — can be asked to leave, and in that case the ticket is not refunded.
We take photographs at walks and use them on this site and on our social accounts. If you would rather not be photographed, tell the host at the start of the night — she will make sure you are not in them.
If a photo of you is already up and you want it taken down, email us and we will remove it. You do not have to give a reason.
If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. The terms that apply to your ticket are the ones published when you bought it.
